Life isn't about finding ourselves... Life is about creating ourselves!
German American Radio was conceived by a cadre of folks within the Washington-Baltimore corridor of America's mid-Atlantic region to serve.
As a volunteer effort involving time, abilities and a vision for the future, GermanAmericanRadio.com planners are excited to have facilitated the creation of a new community media outlet involving many groups, organizations, and individuals who are either fresh off the boat, of German descent, or simply share a love for America's rich heritage involving German cultural influences and accomplishments.
We're growing our programming, and you can growing along with us. Many opportunities are there for you to explore, opportunities that would benefit you and your German American community.
By contributing your thoughts, dreams and state-of-the-community observations, radio commentary can be designed and presented to produce what you'd want others to know and say about you and our community. That's pretty powerful stuff!
The 21st century teaches us that there is a new kid on the block - its name is social media. It's being produced by and for people. Audiences are no longer passive. Audience is active. We could ask, where are you? We'd rather ask, where do want to be?
Life isn't about finding ourselves... Life is about creating ourselves. It's about cultivating our rich German American heritage and making our own history. Building on the past, leading for tomorrow... together, we can make that happen!
